Medical Coordinator

Job Description

The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center and First Step Services FNE Program is seeking a full-time Medical Coordinator. The medical coordinator must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan, have a minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience along with experience as a sexual assault nurse examiner. Preference will go to those with SANE certifications, previous supervisory experience and experience working with a multidisciplinary team including law enforcement, CPS and/or prosecution. Job duties include overseeing nurses and advocates, working closely with MDT (including collaboration, training and quarterly meetings), patient follow up, quality assurance, peer review, and grant writing. Benefits include: Medical, dental and vision insurance, IRA with 3% match by the employer.  Salary to start at $$62,921 annually, negotiable with experience.
