Medical Coordinator - Full Time

The Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center and the First Step Forensic Nurse Examiner Program is seeking a full-time Medical Coordinator.

The Medical Coordinator must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. Preference will be given to those with 2 years of recent nursing experience along with experience as a sexual assault nurse examiner, supervisory experience and working with a multidisciplinary team including law enforcement, CPS and prosecution.

Duties will include overseeing on-call nurses and victim advocates, schedule quarterly meetings and collaborate with the MDT, provide patient follow-up, quality assurance, facilitate peer review, grant writing/reporting and some on-call shifts. The Medical Coordinator is responsible for scheduling non-acute exams in collaboration with the CAC Pediatrician and overseeing two medical sites.

Salary to start at $62,921 annually, negotiable with experience.
