A Brief Introduction
Makenna graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Makenna worked in child welfare as a foster care case manager and provided trauma informed care to children and teens while working as a youth specialist at a residential treatment center. Makenna also gained experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy to youth on the autism spectrum, as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Her passion to protect children and teens continues to inspire her to provide services to youth and their families in local communities.
