Kaitlyn Oates

A Brief Introduction
Kaitlyn graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2017 and is currently working on her master’s in Social Work.
After finishing her bachelor’s degree, she worked in the field of child welfare for several years, where she investigated child abuse and neglect and also worked in Foster Care and Juvenile Justice roles, giving her a wide range of experience working with children and families. Kaitlyn has also worked as a home visitor with Early Head Start. She has a strong passion for working with children and families and her community. Through the CAC, Kaitlyn works to build resilience in families and connect them with resources in their communities.
